so i got a few sets out for this last week coming up. The first two mornings I've had possum catches. This is my first season of trapping i trapped coon in the beginning of the season and am just targeting fox now. My question being does the possum catches mean i need to adjust my approach or that Im on the right track. There are fox and coyote in the area Ive found scat and tracks within 100 yards of my sets. Any input is welcome.
Thanks,
J

Just remake the set. You burned a catch circle and that helps draw in other critters.
Some times you have to clear out the Possums/Skunks to catch the Canines.
Year ago, my Uncle said, "Possums are the fastest animal in the woods. They are always first to your traps."
