Red all the way! White will spook them.

I've tried all 3    The red makes their eyes glow best in my opinion.  However,  I have called and had them Coke in on all three.

I will only use a red light, but know guys who use green and white and never have any problems. It's all what you prefer to use.

Tom, don't practice too close to the beginning of the season because you will make it that much tougher to call them in during season.  I would stay at least two months away from the start.  Or practice in an area you can not hunt.
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!
