If anyone is in the market, I was in Dicks Sporting Goods in Erie today and they had a 17 wsm. They also had a ton of amo for it. Gander Mountain in Erie also had a ton of this amo.

Dick's in Collegeville had two BMags on the rack Thursday (3/6/14), didn't ask about ammo. But, I'm not sure how the tell the difference between a Gen 1 and a Gen 2 other than the crooked stock. I don't know if the stock is a 100% way to tell that you're not buying a Gen 1 though.

all the stock lean to the right. In all reality I don't think it is the stock it is the front bolt assembly. It has wobble to it. I just bought a bull barrel stainless  model that was bad. I called savage they sent me a new stock and it was the same. time to order a boyds stock I think.
