WOW! What did it weigh? Was it in the Mon river? How did he get the dog biscut to stay on the hook?

yup the mon,you put rubber bands around the biscut then slide the hook under the band,cast short and let sit,for about 5 minutes then you can cast it pretty far,but we mostly fish right near shore.

Brian McGyver, you're amazing! I would have never thought of that. But I will try it. After you let it sit for 5 minutes will it sink when you throw it back out? Do I need to add weight to keep it on the bottom? How often do you guys catch fish that way?

no weight let it flot,it will float for 45 minutes and it gets to brittle we catch many that way,also a hair rig works well for carp
