I hunted with Earl and a friend on Friday night and last night I went out and I saw one set of eyes about three hundred yards out. It came out of the woods and went straight back in. Last night after midnight I saw a coon but it was after midnight, (Sunday morning). Other than that, I did hear a pack of coyotes way far away. It was a strange weekend, It was like the woods were dead. Two nights in a row, kinda odd.
I experienced the same.

I'll never shoot one that small again. I got over anxious after seeing the bucks getting chased away by him. Thanks Mutt.

Friday night  I started to hunt at about eight and and I got home at four am. Saturday night I started to hunt at about ten and I got home this morning at five thirty. Two long hard nights. I'm beat.

Because of the poor turnout, will there be another D6 hunt this season?

I don't believe there will be. Thew club has several other hunts scheduled this season that you can participate in. Like I said before Melsdad, we can hook up and get out to hunt when the time is good for you. Just let me know.

Hunted Friday and Sat night
What a weird weekend the nights were Beautiful all kinds of stars but not a creature to be found. Had a fox barking when we were leaving a set.
Explains why I didn't show up lol ???
