Went Crappie Fishing 3/18/2009
« on: March 19, 2009, 08:51:18 AM »
Location: SE - Lancaster Co Lake
Time: 5:30-6:15
Number of guys: 4
Bait of choice: Trout Magnets under the TM floats.

Last night after work I got out for my first fishing of the year.  I headed to a local lake with my brother, my dog, and three other friends.  Between 4 people fishing we caught well over 50 fish in 45 minutes.  The action was so fast that there was no time to take pictures. It also didn't help that I left my camera at the house.  So the few pictures I did take were with my cell, excuse the quality.  All fish brought to hand were released, and most fish brought to hand didn't reach the regulated size limit.  Tons and tons of smaller fish just stacked up.  We caugh mostly Crappie with a few Sunfish here and there and we even managed one small LG.  There were many doubles a few triples and even one QUAD during our short fishing trip.

Hope to get out soon and try to find some of the bigger slabs.

Here are a few pics ...
