you just don't even see sign of them much anymore, roadside banks, brush piles etc... where you used to see bunches, none... :( :( :(
I did meet a mtn. Momma while I was up and started giving some serious thought of moving back up, but the lack of ground grizz has thrown a serious curve into those thoughts... I think I'll bring her down here for a visit and see if she likes it here... ::) :-\ 8)

what's wrong with the mornings?... with all the humidity Goose is complaining about all the time, they ought to be out licking dew off the vegetation, and eating... oh yeah and thanks for keeping the vigilant work schedule up as I too appreciate your contributions to the SS fund... ;D 8) 8)

I finally was able to make it out yesterday to shoot some ground hogs. I had one of the best days ever. I had hogs everywhere. Lots of pups this year. Many holes had 3-4 pups coming out. I had to quit shooting at 17 kills..... I ran out of ammo!!!
I had recently purchased a Savage 223. I put a Leupold VX 3 CDS scope on it and wanted to see how it did. I killed one ground hog at 400 yards, 3 at 300 yards and numerous around the 200-250 yard range. I'm happy with that. I had 3 misses. I was using Hornady 40 gr VMax.
-
;) ;) ;) Way to go!! Sounds like you had fun...
-
I had a blast !! No pun intended.
-
Impressive Jake.
-
Hey Jake, I got a PM from Goose and he said not to believe it. Said you probably got your numbers reversed, 20 shots, 17 misses and 3 hits, ;)
He also said to tell ya this

Third shot was in 4 inches of grass..................tail was a wave'n. :D :D :D :D :D Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, felt good. ;) ;) ;D ;D 8) 8)
