Buckwheat:
Merry Christmas to you and your family.  I found this link; some people are going for night hunting in AZ.

coyotejohn:
Been a hot topic for the last few years.  Probably just as many of us oppossed to it that are in favor of it.  If approved, it probably will not include those counties/game management areas that are on the border.  We already have illegals, drug runners, border patrol, county deputies and DEA agents running around at night - most if not all with guns, throw a bunch of hunters in the mix with them and you have all the elements for a sure disaster.  If'n a agent should get shot you would probably just get a slap on the wrist but if an illegal got shot you would probably get life in prison.  AZ Game & Fish already has a statement in the regulations that states: "Homeland security issues along the international border may affect the quality of a person's hunt."  Some areas on the border are already closed to entry, even during daylight hours due to all the illegal activity.

Sorry I missed your called the other night.  Merry Christmas to you and yours also.  Hope to make it back for your hunt one of these days.

Night hunting near the border sounds exciting; with all the border crossers and drug runners the coyotes would be shooting at your lights. Only one hunt would be more exciting and that would be calling grizzly bears at night with out a gun. It is hard to believe and a real shame that people breaking laws that are not even Americans can ruin a whole state hunting opportunities.
Did you ever hear anything back about that car we found abandon in the desert wile hunting?
