Post by: foxpro51 on January 25, 2009, 10:58:33 AM
Tired of burning up AA batteries.  I just got 2700 AA PowerX rechargable batteries, battery holders and charging unit from Thomas Distributing Communication and electronics company. All i can say is OUTSTANDING product. Lifetime warranty.  Order 8 MAHA 2700 AA Batteries, battery carriers are free. Order MAHA C801D charger 8 cell holder with bag. I forgot these batteries charge super fast.

They now have 2850 MaH rechargable AA batteries. They come with a 2 year gurantee. And just as a note, the recharging unit has a 'conditioning" feature that will sometimes bring your old batteries back to life. It does 8 cells at a time. Same company.

It was indeed frustrating for me when I tried to use AA rechargeable batteries less then the 2400 mAh.  1800, 2000, etc the FX5 would not even work.  Finally I went to 2400's and that was when the batteries started to work in the FX5.

Also FP quick charge and the household attachment does not charge as well as the FP household only charger that charges right to the FX5.

Also  seems like once you charge the AA batteries a few times too...They get better.......

I found some 2650's at Boscov's and some 2700 at Ross department store.
I do carry up to 5 sets of AA that are charged but most times only have to use one set per night per hunt.....

Again think 2400 mAh or better and you can't go wrong... Less then 2400 use them for your head lights or flashlights only...
