allright after seeing a demand for the lanyards I have made. I have decided to have a little competition. here is the deal. whoever kills the biggest groundhog will get a lanyard of however you want it made. The game will last from tonight at midnight till may 23 at midnight. the rules are as follows you must measure the g-hog from nose to tip of tail and prove it in a photo. to make sure that these are pictures from now till may 23 you must have the ace of spades playing card in the picture along with the measurement. this is open to anyone and does not need to be a member of the club. You must post the picture in this thread. If this works out good then we will keep on doing this.

Sounds good to me Ben. I wasn't really looking for a laynard but I'm always ready to bust some groundhogs. Great idea. :D

I've busted 9 so far but haven't hunted for almost 2 weeks now. I've had 2 much on the go but there out in big numbers right now. I'll have to remember to take my Ace of Spades with me the next time I go. Again, great idea Ben. :D

Here is a pic of a 29" hog I busted at 100yds trying to dive into the hole. The photo isn't the best for the tape measure but I had another PPHA member with me who is enterd in the contest to verify the length. (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/Two-0-four/29inchHog.jpg)
6.5 Swed and 142gn Matchkings. [/img]

It was definitely a monster, and as much as I hate to admit it...it was an honest 29 inch hog(heavy to carry out as well). Nice Job Two-O-Four, this coming friday, there is a 30 incher with my name on it....he's out there, I know he is!

one more week fellas.

 turn out the lights..... the party's over. Good job Two-O-Four

so what kind ya want 204. you seen the flat braided one and the round one. tell me witch kind and also the amount of drops.
also thanks to all that played along. don't frown because I think another one is around the bend.
-
Thanks. It sure was fun and I'm still trying to keep my skills honed in for the next one. I just busted one this am around 100yds with the .204 right between the eyes with 32gn VMax. I won't go into details but it was ugly. That puts me at 20 for this year so far.
I'll take one with 4 drops. If you could, keep 2 drops paired together for length similar to the one you had at the meeting. I think it had 2 up high and 2 hanging lower and you left a few inches of distance between them. Something like that so when I'm walking to a stand there not clanging and banging together. Flat or round will work. You decide on that.
Thanks again for having this contest and putting up your own product for the prize. Very nice. :D
