I use illum recitals at night. I can get on my target a lot quicker.

I have one that I've take out a few times but never shot anything with it.
Buckwheat:
I have a scop with adjustable red dot at the cross hairs. I use it sometimes because i have it. With the lights in the past 2 years I have not needed to use it.

PA Predator Hunter:
I like the red illuminated dot in the center of the cross hairs. I keep mine on all night. Battery life is outstanding. Sometimes I forget to turn it off and it's still illuminated the next night. My opinion is its a great option.
