on ebay they have the optronics scope mounted 350 yard light my buddy is thinking on gettin one are they any good guys

if I'm remembering right that's a 12Volt light... I had a 250 and that was to bright... if they got within 60 yards or so they'd start blinking and turning their head as the light was hurting their eyes...

I have the optronics 100 and I'm happy with it.I don't shoot long distance at night.

I agree, thats to much light. The 100 yard is perfect.

The 350 yard lights I owned were 6 volt, they might have made a 12 volt one but I never used one.

If you are hunting small two or three acre fields or in woods you do not need the 350 yard light but it will work but you have to be careful not light up your stand area to much with reflected light. The 100 yard works ok in woods in and is a good choice for on a shot gun. However in open fields and after you get some light experience you can go to a lot stronger light then even the 350 yard light in the open fields.

i hunt huge fields out here and shots usually are about 75- 100 yards
