Refurbished Scopes
« on: July 25, 2012, 11:17:15 AM »
Has anyone ever bought a refurbished scope?  I found what appeared to be good deals on a couple of models I was interested in and was wondering if anyone had any good or bad experiences with them.

Yep same thought here. I actually dropped my .223 out if a treestand one morning. It was unloaded but it landed on the scope side after hitting the butt first. I figured the scope was toast. No damage at all. The butler creek scope covers prob helped cushion it a little. But gun stayed on zero as well

Have either of you guys ever put one on something with a little more recoil?  I figured they would probably work on a lighter caliber like a .223 but am apprehensive about a larger caliber.

I run a rebuilt BSA on my 7mag.  I have put hundreds of rounds through it and never had to adjust it.  And your scope should still carry the factory warranty.
