I do not know how true this is.  But my sister was telling of live stock being killed around the Green Lane Resevoir by a suspected mountain lion.  The horse boarder that my niece works for has had a pony nearly killed.  The owner heard something disturbing the horse at night over the winter.. She went to check to see what it was and found the "mountain Lion" around the pony's neck.  Again I have not heard anything of this.  I am working on trying to get confirmation from the PGC.

I've seen them in Pa three times in the past. One was in Emporium, one was in Brookville, and the other was in Dubois. The PGC told me I didn't see them but they sure looked real to me. They are here but the PGC will never admit it.

A guy named Don Bechtel from North East Pa told me and a bunch of others he witnessed the PGC release four male/female sets of Mtn Lions In the Bennezette area to control the Elk herd. The problem is they took off and scattered. This was 3 years ago. Don holds seminars on coyote hunting in Pa and also has written a book titled "The Eastern Coyote". I can't understand why he would make something like that up.

I believe that would be Tom Bechdel.

Why would he make something like that up?   Because that's how he makes a living.  Lying.
Is this the guy?

I would say its photoshopped.  Looks like the body of an african lion?  what is the "lion" holding onto to drag the buck?  doesn't look real at all.  Just my .02
