Title: What ever happened to Pa Allowing hunters to use semiautomatic 22 rimfires?

There was a time this was being considered.. Allowing hunters to use semiautomatic 22 rimfire...Rifle and pistol for chucks and small game.  Anyone ever hear what happened to the recommendation?  is it dead?
