Buckshot....We know about # 4 buckshot, and T, and BB however there are so many buckshots that are available for reloading that are a size in between our legal buckshot... Like B, and F size. So if you reload..Instead of using BB you can use B and have more pellets.. Now the B is bigger  in Size then # 2 shot..  There is Lead Buckshot and then there is Nickel Plated Lead Buckshot.. Nickel Plated buckshot hits harder and deeper then lead buckshot...

Here is a web link that shows all of the buckshots...Remember we can't use anything larger the # 4 buckshot at the time.. However all of the buckshot that is smaller then # 4 buckshot we can use for predators..

Sadly....what a neat sport it would be if we could hunt chucks with everything up to # 4 buckshot...Law says we can't only thing you can use is # 4 shot.. Picture yourself....when the grass was high snap shooting for chucks with # 4 buckshot as you walk along the edges of fields.  Once you see one run into the tree line you could post and wait it out and get it with buckshot..

As you know chucks are tough...what a shame we can only use # 4 shot.. Think of the practice we could have for fox season hunting chucks with buckshot...Also it would allow us to hunt when the grass or weeds was high..

Here is the web link that shows all of the buckshot you can buy.
