Warm weather got the Coons on the RUN...

I just re-set some coon traps this morning...and each bank of the creek is literally like a coon highway...I wish I had a camera there to take a picture cuz it truely was very exciting...hopin to get a big take tomorrow morning...

I don't trap. So, you have nothing to worry about there.  And I really don't hunt coons either unless they walk in front of the barrel.

o nah swarter...I was just joking around...the stream I trap the farmer never turns anyone down to hunt, trap, ect...so its like public ground anyways...


Just got done checkin the traps...0 coon...maybe they were running last week? lol

In my area, the Coon been running since last Wednesday.
I had spring hole sets out and was nail'n big 'um since last Wednesday.
One must always be 'in-season' scouting.

nothing in my sets along stream. did get nice double coon in the hay barn.

0 coon all week...plenty of new tracks...this is starting to become depressing lol...early season I was gettin a few coons a week, dunno whats goin on...but thats why we do it  ;D

The boys are setting box traps the past couple of days, so far we have had some cats and squirrels but this morning, one called me all excited because he had a coon in the trap and didn't know what to do with it.   nice to see them getting more involved.
