The best way to keep you from getting down wind is to trip you up before you get there.

I wish you would have left your questions up. You asking questions not only helps me write a reply. It helps you look a little crafty.
But I know there is always a little male eago in what ever people want to do. Part of the human nature. If some one says they have no ego i will show you a eaghead and a none successful person.

Some of why I am going to teach is to get rid of a lot of stuff people think is correct. They can take it or leave it. But I will have stated and shown information to PPHA members the information they need to have for a better chance at killing coyotes.
At the same time they will become a better all around hunter.

This information can take a long time for some to get, some my never.  Others will only have to add it to what they already no and has worked for them.
I too may learn stuff to help up my odds also. Never go closed minded and you will never stop learning.
Some peoole will think I am even closed minded to there ideas. I may seam that way on some stuff  but there is usually a reason I seam that way from past experience.

What is going to make this worth wile is i would like to show real in the field stuff if possible.
So bring all your methods and tools you hunt with and clothing. No guns will be needed. We will use sticks, you can bring your own stick if you will feel better.

Also if we can I would like to have Brian Downs and Andrew Lewand if possible. But member turn out and meeting these two expert hunting people time restraints may cause it to falter some.
But something is better then nothing.

As far as why this is short notice is my ability not to hunt this year.
I was thinking what could I do and I thought I know!!! I can help PPHA get back to leading and get on the map and just maybe put some members on the board at the Mosquito Creak Hunt.
All worth wile I thought.

By the way getting down wind is no big problem to solve if you trip them up before they get there.

Buckwheat asks-
Why get rid of your questions.

Because I ask too many questions... ;D
I copy and pasted three replies into one reply and delete some questions.

Great idea. And hope you can pull this together.

You going to open it up to nonmembers at an additional price?

If you have the event just off a Major highway more will attend. like the Pennsylvania Turnpike or interstate 81.  Harrisburg Hunters and Anglers would jump at the chance! Bose

Remembers where we first met Ernie.  PPHA meeting at the Farmers Wife in Ono, Pa. No cost to use the back room if members order off menu.  Eat a piece of pie and drink coffee and listen to How Too Seminar !!!!

This is only for members of PPHA
People can join when they show up if they want. But this is truly to make PPHA members better predator hunters.
The rest of the hunters will just have to wait and get there information secondhand as they always have. You know wisper down the line untill they have it botched up real good.
This location is not picked yet. But probably close to my house so I can show in the field set ups. This is going to be a long day and some evening stands for real on hand experience that want it.

Ok I am going to need to start a real list of people that are going to show up for this school.
Please list your (first) name on this Ppha site on a link called Attending School on Predators.
Also you will need to send me an email at ewcalls@gmail.com
If you are (not) currently a PPHA you will have to fix that or Pay at the event. But you must let me know what way you are going to be a member. No Gests, members only!! Or you will be asked to leave.

Can you give us a tentative date/time,cost,anything we need to know? Not holding you to anything, just don't want to sign up and then find it conflicts with some other event...and I end up being a no show...defeats the purpose...I can pencil it on our calendar, here at home, before Momma puts up something I wish to avoid....

School
Date Feb 14/2015

Conestoga Pa
11:00 am until 7:00 pm
Hope to meet for at Conestoga wagon Resterant for greet and meet session. Would like to leave there at around 12 noon to safe harbor park for start of class and questions. Review ever body's methods and equipment and how to possibly help inprove set ups methods. This will be for daytime and night time coyote set ups.
We will start there and end up on night hunting stands to finish off with.
So you see there will be a lot to do and learn before we head to night stands. Maybe not enought time to cover everything but you will have learned something that you never did before.

Instructors will be Ernie Wilson.
Possible instructor's if enough interest and can free up there time Brian Downs, Andrew Lewand.

We are covering Coyotes tactics.
End result we are looking for is?
PPHA MEMBERS to not follow the crowd. But to be the leader in coyote hunting skills. In turn you will be a better all around predator hunter on all critters.
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.

Good luck with the class sounds like it will be very informative and worth the trip. Hope you get a good turnout.
