I decided to buy a 17 hornet for this years predator and fall turkey season. I have been trying to find one for a little while, and on Saturday I had a little luck. I had found 4 of them. I finally made it out to shoot it last night, and I am very happy with it. Shooting chucks will be fun, but I cannot wait until October!!!!! The first three shots at the top were my first shots at 100 yards. I made an adjustment then shot three and one 3/4" inch high.

It looks like you went with the Savage Walking Predator model. I have the same gun and LOVE IT !! Once you get a few more rounds through it, your groups may actually tighten up a little more. Thus far, i haven't had much problem getting ammo for it either.
I actually have about 1000 rounds stockpiled. Get it now while you still can!! Nice group. You're going to love shooting that rifle!!!

I bought 200 rounds when I bought it. I love the way it shoots. I put a Redfield 4-12x40 mm scope on it. I have never owned a Redfield, but they are made by Leupold. I am happy with it so far.

Nice looking gun. Does that have the accu-trigger?

It does have the accutrigger

There is one problem that I can see with your shooting.....There won't be any excuses if you miss!!
-
I will most likely miss half of what I call in. I get so excited and shake bad!

Iffin you would like....I'll take that and break it in for ya.... :o.....chipmunks are coming out already ;) :P only one pigmy grizzly bear sighting so far though.. 8)

If you are going to use it a lot I would recommend getting 5,000-10,000 rounds or at least that much brass.

I'll second that. You'll blow throu 200 rounds real quick!!! Get em' while you can find em' !!
