Congratulations. Now that is a sign!
-
wow...nice sign..nice reds and nice rifle..good stuff
-
Coop. They are greys.
-
Your pounded them greys. Is that a 17hmr?
-
ya it's a 17 and i'm feeling comfortable with it finally, the only bad thing is NO RED DOT IN THE SCOPE so it takes time to get on them...
-
Yea I hear yea about the red dot. Then I broke down and got a greman dot. I can get on the pretty quick.
-
looking for a new scope any suggestions , with a red dot in it
-
You are doing a great job on those grays, I hunted the first year also with an hmr, looks like you got it all together with the sign and the postings, and actually with some of the newer LED lights you can get away fairly easily without an illuminated crosshair/dot,the eyes will light your reticle up for you, again, good job on the grays,I have Burris Eurodiamond with the illuminated dot and I think highly of it, the mueller sport dot is a lot cheaper version of it,not as good optics but you get what you pay for

Lizard, Shortmagger hit the nail on the head about the new led gun mounted lights. I foud out if you have a led scope mounted light you probably wont need a ill scope. I am a leupold fan I like the ill german dot but thats my choice. The cheapest I found scopes to buy online is optics planet no shipping and no tax. But people on here probably know of other places.

If you get a good gun mounted light you shouldn't need your cross hair to light up. But then again i use a white light also
-
Coop. They are greys.
lol...what do i know

L.L. Looks like you have the greys figured out.I'm an Hmr fan myself but whats more important is that your comfortable with your weapon.I agree if you have a good led light you can do just fine with no lighted reticle.I use a trijicon which has no batteries and has just the right amount of light without being overwhelming. They are pricey but would highly recommend them if its in the budget.
