Title: the Rapala Knot for trolling original Rapalas
Post by: uncle buck on March 11, 2015, 12:30:34 AM
Being from NEPA i like to Troll for trout with Rapala original lures.
This is how you tie the knot when fishing with Rapalas. They suggest this for jigs too! I like originals because lures go down about 3 to 4 feet when trolling. I have a  Colman Scanoe 31 years old) There is a Rapala called The Clown! Thats good but so are the silver blue, silver, gold, and chatreuz. I like the 1 1/2 -3  inch size 0riginal Rapala lures! I have fished Possum, Holoman, and Laurel lake in SCPA. Been awhile since I launched the Scanoe but going to do it this year again.

Heddon lures use to make and sale what they call the Tadpoly!!  I buy everyone I can get my hands on at yard sales.. Those things are so good for trolling...I wonder why Heddon Lures don't make them anymore... If you have some in your tackle box try them when trolling for trout, bass, and walleye... they be so good!!!!!
