6.8 Rem SPC another dual varmint/deer round on the horizon

New caliber... 6.8 SPC is being provided in the AR platforms now.. You can also get it in bolt action from Remington and Ruger and even from T/C in Contender... Shoots a 110 grain bullet and it suppose to be flat shooting.  Suppose to be one of those dual range calibers too... Prairie dog, woodchuck, coyote, deer, and antelope..

Who knows down the road we might be able to use semiautomatic rifles for hunting in Pa.. If so might want to consider the 6.8 SPC instead of the .223.  Also the 6.8 SPC is a small 270 caliber round..


I like when I can go right from my woodchuck gun to a gun for coyotes..  Right now I'm using 223 and 22250 for both..

the 6.8 SPC is being used because of differrent government and military applications.. You know what happens then the sportsmen start to use it..
