Thoughts on Mossberg 835 ulti-mag

Been thinking of buying a new Predator shotgun anybody have an 835 or used one ? I like the idea of the 24 inch bbl for the thick stuff   Thanks

i have the 835 camo combo 24 inch with the rifled barrel also , i like mine alot , will be buying the 835 with thumbhole stock and 20 in barrel for my next shotgun

Why buy a whole new gun.  You can buy the stock seperately and the bbl as well.  Save some money doing it that way.


I have owned 3 or 4 Mossberg 835's over the years.  They are by far the best all around shotguns on the market.  I Like being able to use the different length of shells (2.75,3,3.5).

I was never into the 3.5" shells. I used mine primarily for turkey and it was never needed. The 3.5's made my teeth rattle and patterned worse than all my other shells.
