hey guys, I have been wanting to get into PCPs for a while and one question I have is what do you use to refill the tank? I know that you can use a scuba gear or a hand pump. What do you guys use or think works the best?

The hand pump is to hard for me. I would spend to much time filling the tank.
If you shoot alot get 4500 lb carbon fiber tank.  Price is 400 to  700
Getting started can cost alot.but once set up you can shoot a lot. Read as may posts you can find and watch YouTube videos.
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.

I have been looking at the airforce condor rifle and was wondering if any of you guys had experience with the rifle? Another question is what caliber to get because I would mainly use the rifle for target shooting and pest control( opossums, pigeons, skunks, etc)?

I have the condor but am new to shooting these powerful guns. I too am just learning about them. Learning how to tune them is tricky at first. But today I finally tuned 32 gr pellets flying at1050 fps just under the speed of sound to group pretty good. This gun blows me away. I never thought a pellet gun can shoot so good. I am now shooting 30 yards and almost looks like one big ripped hole is possible.

Just like with powderburners everyone has a preference. My first is the Mrod .25cal but I've been really looking at my next one
Will prob be a Kricket .25cal talking to the guys at Pyramyd air they're telling me this is the cats behind especially for a bullpup
style rifle....bit expensive but lots of bang for the buck. IMO the way to go for pest control is a PCP air rifle.....nothing wrong with spring guns or even nitro piston just like the shots per fill of a PCP airgun

Kricket, more then I will spend. It can not shoot any better then what I have now. If it is better it sure can not be by much.
But I to like the pcp airforce air guns. A lot more adjustments to make it shoot better then a springer and no big twang of a spring.
That mrod you are shooting is a good shooter, why would you even want to change.

Only want to add to my collection lol....that is a pricey gun and I like the short bullpup size. Some of the
more urban spots I hunt make it difficult to sneak in with a fullsize rifle. The
Kricket I could put in my pack and no-one would know I went in to hunt lol

Is your Mrod wood or plastic stock?  I have been shooting a 350 magnum springer and looking to venture into the PCP guns.  The Benji Mrod is highly rated and I have spoken to a few guys that own them and they are all very happy with them.  Just trying to decide whether or not to go wood or plastic in the 25 cal.
Cheers,
Bill

Bill sorry for the delay I've been off the grid for awhile.  My Mrod is the wood stock but if I would do it over I'd go with the synthetic.  Still love this beast. Spent the summer popping rats in barns my farthest shot was 57 yards using the .43gr eunjin and boy is it fun!
