The staying in shape shooting I got from talking to you.
The more you shoot the better you can get.

As long as the suppressor is an integral part of the weapon it is legal to sell. Same as a powder burner. if the suppressor is welded/permanently attached to the weapon you can purchase the whole package w/o the tax stamp. That's how Gamo can get away with selling the weapon with the suppressor attached. Plus there is a fine line between suppression and changing the pitch of the sound waves after discharge. With the Marauder the baffle system is part of the shroud which is integral/designed into the weapon. BUT if you add/remove or reshape any of the baffles then you've just committed a felony. Stupid isn't it? That's how Neal Clague and TKO get around the law. By changing the pitch of the weapons report. Not necessarily reduce the SPL of the discharge.

Well I ended up getting the airforce condor and a 4500 psi air tank.
I just started shooting it a little. This thing is like shooting a rifle. I shot at a 2x4s with a target on it and shot through the 2x4 at 15 yards. I think at and indoor range on a table I could keep them in the same hole but not free hand. I might need more practice.

Sounds like fun.
I looked at my first reply and I have a pellet rifle. Nowhere near what you have.
Dang you, now I want one...

But remember the start up costs on these types of guns is alot.

Just read in Predator Xtreme = Airgun Roundup interesting  ??? The one that caught my eye was the Umarex Octane...Googled the company and they also make it in 22 cal. at 1250 fps...MSRP $281..... :-X :-X I could do some serious bird feeder protection with that. :o :o :o

I did not get to read that mag yet.
The weight of the pellet is important to know when they give speeds. I can shoot up to 32 gr pellet that the gun you mentioned my not be able to shoot that heavy of a pellet.

 ??? ??? They didn't give a pellet weight;
Brand: Umarex
Caliber: 0.22 (5.5 mm)
Ammo Type: Pellets
FPS w/Alloy Pellet: 1250
FPS w/Lead Pellet: 1050

for all I intend on shooting, this may fit the bill, however, you have given me some food for thought  :-\ :-\

1050 fps for lead pellet is good. That will kill more then just birds.

Shooting these new high power PCP airguns is so much.fun! My one big hope is that the PA Game comm takes a good look and starts to allow their use for hunting in PA. Cost benefit comes in when I can go to the range and shoot 300-500 pellets for about $15. It's not cheap to start but once you have all the essentials pellets are cheap. Benefit is lots and lots of trigger time!

I like to know how good your gun will group at 13 yards.  That is how far I shoot right now. Just wandering what your gun does.

Depending on pellets my best group was with .43gr Eunjin pellets prone unsupported indoors at 10yds was 1/4" and 1/2" @ 25yds. My Mrod is still bone stock and I wanna chrony it with a tune up. I've shot barn rats at 50yds with Pred Polymag causing a fine red mist to disperse with a fairly predictable pattern lol

This is me trying different pellets and air pressure at 13 yards. Most of these have 5 pellets in groups. I can not wait to try some at 50 yards.
