Lancaster county youth field day

It that time of the year. PPHA will be teaching kids to call predator again.
Sign up and bring your kids if they are 10 to 15 years of age.
 
Make sure to read and understand the field day guidelines.....

1. Youth must be at least age 10 and no older than 15 by day of event.
 
2. All equipment will be supplied; this includes firearms, fishing gear, ammunition, targets, etc. No outside guns or ammunition will be permitted. There will be no charges for any activity, food, or beverage.

3. All youth must be pre-registered. Registration for the event will be on a first-come, first-serve basis with a limit of 200 registrants. The registration/release from liability form must be returned to Lancaster County Sportsmen for Youth, PO Box 44, Elizabethtown, PA 17022-004, prior to May 27, 2017.

4. All youths attending must sign in at Milton Grove Sportsmen Association, prior to 7:40 am on Saturday, June 3, 2017, before participating in the event.

5. Each participant will receive a T-shirt when signing in, which must be worn as an exterior garment during the entire day, to identify all participants for safety and security reasons.

6. Each participant will be assigned to a group led by a group leader and must stay with that group throughout the day. Attending every activity with the assigned group is mandatory. Participation in any one, specific activity is optional.
 
7. All activities are expected to be completed by approximately 5:00 PM.

8. Lunch will be provided at no cost for all attending youth and accompanying adults.

9. Activities are intended for hands-on youth participation. Each activity will have its own staff member to welcome and provide instruction. Shooting events are performed with one on one coaching to ensure individual attention and safety. After a brief orientation, each youth will be invited to participate in the activity

10. For emergencies the day of the event: Event coordinators may be reached by calling 717-283-9198.

11. The goal of the field day is to have fun while learning outdoor activities. For safety reasons, no reckless or careless conduct will be tolerated. Any person who participates in this type of conduct will be asked to leave.

12. Eye and ear protection will be provided to all participants and will be mandatory while shooting.
 
13. The Youth Field Day event will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 rain or shine. Dress for the weather.
