"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!

I do not like the talk on caliber restrictions for predator hunting. Here is a place PPHA should speak up to the PGC.
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.

Ernie, I think he may have accidentally misspoke. The PGC website gives details and it says caliber restrictions for small game, and no caliber restrictions for woodchucks and furbearers. Either he slipped up when put on the spot or the website is inaccurate.

Foxhound
Thanks for giving me the up date information.
I hope he misspoke. A lot of people out there can not justified another rifle just go shoot a red fox, especially with fur prices like they are. Also not everyone that hunts is selling there fur. Just finding a close by fur byers is hard for some. Let alone learning how to put up fur. If it was not for guys hunting coyotes I not sure how strong predator hunting would be right now for new people in the sport.
