WTG jake! I say it is starting to click for you. What caliber are you using?

     I'm using a Savage 17 hornet Walking predator model with factory loads.  As long as I take head shots, I don't have any fur damage.    I hit a couple in the front shoulder and blew out a hell of an exit would on the exit.

     The gun is a tack driver.  I use one of Ernie's Tri X shooting rests, and head shots don't seem to be a problem.  Most of my shots are around the 100 yard mark .... + or - .

     My go to sound is the fox pro Nutty Nuthatch or the Bee's O'Brian fire fly cottontail hand call.

I hunt with Bowman much of the time.  Combined we took about 19 reds this year.  Obviously didn't post em all.  Sure is fun jus tbeing out there!!  I never thought I'd get hooked on this sport the way I did.  I feel like I'm getting paid to have fun every time I drop off furs to sell !!!
