Greetings
Check this out, I will definitely give this a try.  I imagine a trapped dog would work the best.  You would need to somehow seal the bullet holes up for a shot dog.

This is also helpful when the fox may freeze up by the time you get home. During those sub freezing nights by the time we got home to skin fox from the earlier sets were frozen solid. I mean to the bone. I figured I'd try it. It work GREAT! Loosened up the hide and made it a lot easier. Called a buddy who was struggling to thaw his out and let him know. I'm so glad those temps are behind us...atleast for a few days!
