Anyone ever use or experiment with a coyote decoy??

I know many people will use a decoy such as a MoJo crazy critter, or the FoxPro decoys, and even something as simple as a feather on a string......Has anyone out there ever experimented or used a life size coyote decoy when calling Yotes?  If so,  How did it work??  I am assumeing that it would be very cumberson and bulky to lug into the set, along with all the other items we carry  i.e.  Calls, guns, shooting rests, lights, etc.

I used to use one on day time set ups.
it was a pain to carry very far. ( made of plywood)
They work as far as influencing the behavior of what ever comes to the call

I have the new lone howler coyote decoy. I use it in my last hour of the day set with a few lone howls as the call.  It does look realistic with the tail moving in the slightest wind, but with it being bulky and a extra 10 lbs to carry in, I'm usually not far from my truck when I do use it.

Decoys will work BUT: Many times you will get busted just because you have to go out and set it up in the field...The less you walk in the better it is on your first set up... They work but the bulk of using one just ain't worth it..
Now I would consider using a canine decoy over snow in twilight conditions in the fox mating season... I purchased a red fox mount that someone never picked up at a taxermist.  I think I paid  $35.00 for it.. He just wanted to get his raw material money back.. It will work on fox in the mating season and it will work on coyotes too.. However if I even consider using it. It will be during twilight conditions over snow.. Probably just set it down where it's legal to shoot too. None of that  100 yard walk out into a field to set up.  Your really scaring everything away...
