That looks like the one ADC makes.  Does it swivel?  I was thinking of makeing one for next season.

Yep.
I have a chain welded to vice-grips, attached to floor right now, but I have to bend over to pick vice-grips off floor. With this base, vice-grips are in place and no bending over to find 'em.

That looks like the one ADC makes.  
That is the style most folks make, including ADC.
Walkercoonhunter's  price is lower and I saved on shipping by picking up at rendezous.
Walker painted it Silver. I repainted Black.

I was thinking of mounting the hoist down low then running the cable through a pully up in thr rafters.  I'm not sure if it's much faster but it would be a heck of alot easier.
