Oposums???

Is anyone seeing and unusual amount of opossums this year? Is it possible that the lack of raccoons and fox in my area this year might be a result of a disease that opossums are immune to?

i called one in behind the house, swore it was a raccoon, got into about 50 yards and i could see that rat tail.  should have blasted him but let him walk.  forrest has caught several in his traps this year.

I have called in a few this year... I just don't shoot them since it has the possibility of wrecking my stand for targeted animals..
