Rubber boots...Wow I remember those Mickey Mouse Boots that C 130 USCG air crews used when they did search and rescue operations in Alaska.. They have a air valve on the side that you fill with air...Things are so cold.....They also are dangerous as heck too.. You try to climb a hill or step on some snow covered ice your going down..
When your young too you use only the equipment you have at hand to hunt deer...You know those black buckle boots we all had as kids and adults... Kind that fits over any shoe.. Wow....I remember climbing up the Mountains in Wyoming county, Pa. I fell down about 10 times going from the bottom of the road to the top of the mountain..
Nice that boots now have so much traction on them..
You all be careful if you buy those military Mickey Mouse Boots. They come in black and white.. I don't think they really keep your feet that warm.. When you hit the snow covered ice with them on your going down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
