First coyote
« on: November 07, 2010, 08:17:24 PM »
Hello All,

Had to post a note about my first one!!!

While hunting turkey yesterday I was taking a break and made a few calls over an hour when I stood up and put my pack on and turned around and saw the coyote trotting down this logging road up wind of me.

It did not see me even with an orange vest and hat on.

Great site great people lot of great info

Thanks

Jerry

Congratulations.  Take them however you can get them.  Thanks for posting.
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!

thanks for sharing that...are you a member at all? If not, one of the extra's of signing up is you get to see the rest of the forums, which there is probably another 80%, which is a lot of good info from some of the best in the state. I'm learning as well, and there are a lot of good tools to use! Good luck in the future!
