Maybe if the person has to be approved by a moderater. Example being , when they join the board, and email gets sent with them with a password or link to prove they are using the email they say they are.

it's allready set up like you say ian.  the only other way is to make it so the admin accepts the username.  but that is a lot of work.

Since it seems these posts show up late at night and I'm usually up late.  How bout giving me the authority to at least delete these posts.  Just a thought.
