.243 to much?

I am getting a savage model 110 .243 on a trade. My question is will the .243 with the hornady 58 grain v-max moly or the 58 grain V-max superformance be to much for coyote and fox as far as pelt damage? Thanks for your input.

Good for coyote, a little much for fox a lot of the time. Good long rang gun though. I shot a lot of fox with a 243, some times i would have to look around for some fox body parts after the shot. Lol

if you reload you might be better off with a slow heavier bullet. If the gun likes it.
