vegetation nice when there is none from November  to March. one can get up high in those months and see for long distances...Truly a rifleperson dream...However now......thick stuff...real hard....might be the time to truly get up in a tree stand and call down a logging road...Stand or tree stand should be close enough so you can see the trail too...good time to use the # 4 buckshot too....

I truly hate going up in a tree stand...Fell once and I probably should not be here today... However you got to make sure the tree stand are safe...One that you put up there not someone Else's.  then there are the nuts the Bobbie trap their tree stands...you get a climbing tree stand and put it up that same day.........the hunt is over already if you do that... If you could get permission from the farmer to hunt from their barn or shack...However you could end up with night visitors...um that reminds me of the women that wanted me to sit in her barn and shoot all the coon that came to her cats food dish... Of course I did not do that.... See the cats all 40 of them....one also had rabies and bit the women...You just never know what is in those dark dark dark dark hay lofts at night...Um heard the Brown Recluse spider does not live in Pa but does live in Ohio...However Black Widows do live in Pa..
I wonder if it's legal to sit in the back end of an open pick up truck...You know one without the cap on it... Um maybe not knew of a guy that had a permit to hunt like that...killed many a deer sat in a lawn chair with blankets all around him and hoped for a deer to come out in the farmers field... Yep I bet you get arrested if you even sat in the back end of a pick up truck?

Used to be that if you had a disability one could apply to the PGC for a permit to use a vehicle as a blind. Hunt and shoot out of it. Do not know if that is still the case.

If you have a confirmed disability with proof from your Doctor, you can use your vehicle as a blind. The PAGC has the forms you need. I got mine about 3 months ago.  It is nice to be able to hunt from my truck. I will find out this fall if it is productive as well.
