Goat & Groundhog
« on: October 05, 2010, 04:12:28 AM »
Had a Goat feeding in the front yard on Saturday.
Farmer up the road raises 'em.
I got my catch pole and wife said 'be careful'.
This billy had long, sharp horns.
Got him, placed billy in the back of pickup and delivered unharmed.
Farmer said he wished I would have shot it, it gives him trouble from time to time.
Farmer then ask if I would catch a groundhog that burrow under a shed.
Nessled a #160 in the den hole and that evening I had him. Reset the trap and nothing Sunday. I pulled trap and backfilled den hole.
