:) In preparation for a trip to the Dark Continent or Northern Pa. whichever is closer ;) I took my raffle ticket .243 to the range ;D Not knowing what creature (s) Guide "Sonny" might entice :-\ :-\ :-\ I made my own Generic target out of a pie plate ::) ::) It's a cross between a tree rat,ground grizz,fox and coyote :-[ :-[ I was using 100 gr ammo so I was practicing brain shots to save the fur :o :o :o :o....lol....100yds 3/4 inch Pop's almost ready ;D ;D ;D ................................. 8) Comic section laugh of the day! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I was with him when a gun was fired.
He not gun shy, he just does not understand something is to be hit when the gun goes off. Kinda like the deer in the head light look on his face after he shoots is all I remember.

All these stories remind me of the story of the guy that forgot his wallet at the restaurant type of thing. By tomorrow nobody's truck will be running. Sonny will not have to guide and save face and he will still get his award. See he is smarter then a possum.

This sounds like a great hunt....
Guide may cut & run, raffled rifle first time afield, broken down trucks, no wallet, a couple of weeks to fix a power steering pump & chewed wire harness, wet behind the ears Guide, ole Coots, Grizzly & Mt. Lions, Drunk in the Cabin, no batteries needed, your imagination for ammo, smarter then a possum, know all his honey holes up there.

:( :( Well after riding around for hours trying to get mud on my truck >:( >:( >:( Dr. P offered $10.00 if I splashed mud on her :P so I did :P and as is his custom he refused to pay >:( >:( >:( Finally we got out and tried some calling along a back road ;D but it was a Dr. P extra frigid spot... ::) ::) Then we went to the secret Honey-Hole which Dr. P claimed was BW's hot-spot ;D ;D ;D ;D well here was the result ::) 1 very anemic coyote :-[ Goose got sent to the truck for asking where the fur was :-\ :-\ and as we were in extraction mode there were PORKIES on both sides of the road headed for where we had been :o :o if there is a next time :-\ :-\ I am definitely going to check the guides credentials more closely >:( >:( If he is wearing a Mossy Oak hat with TROJAN ENZ on the front :o :o and PRO STAFF on the back I am looking elsewhere >:( >:( ........ 8) BTW I would highly recommend this Guide if you want to conserve ammo....LOL
