Title: Shotgun rounds
Post by: buckinitup on July 25, 2017, 07:48:48 PM
Hey guys new to the site and just want to see what everyone else has been using for their shotgunning rounds. I've been using 3 1/2 hevi metal bb and it has put the hurting on the fox we shot with it out to 42 yds. But I'm wanting to switch so I'm not using steel I'm thinking about the varmint x shot shells or number 4 buck. what are y'all using?

Welcome to the site!!! I personally don't use a shotgun when targeting fox but maybe someone can chime in on this subject for you.

Welcome buckinitup! I don't use a shotgun for fox either. There are some members here that do. I'm sure they'll post an answer as soon as they see your post.

Welcome, I use #4 Buck but also use #2 & #3 Bismuth, I have even killed them with #4 regular lead..depends on how close and what cover you are in...or if you field hunting..
