Seems opposite from what I am hearing.

Some guys 'in the know' tell me we may have seen the bottom of the fur market. But the market has a long way to go. Plus we need global economy recovery. Some items will spike, while some will be slow to recover.
In that article-
The $107 Coyotes were heavy western. What they didn't print was the overall average.
Overall average for US & Canadian Coyotes were $45-$47 at that sale.
-
??? ??? ??? $45-$47 seems kinda real good to me considering what we've been seeing ;) ;) ;)
-
Goose, $45-$47 is about the average at Canadian auctions last year. (were most Pa. fur buyers sell)
One would be hard pressed to get that average from a local Pa. fur buyer or local Pa. Trappers auction, the past several seasons. I can't blame local fur buyers for being cautious.
But we can all hope for a turn around. I think it will be slow to rebound. But a slight rise each season is ok by me.
Goose, I think your Muskrat are suppose to rebound faster, according to some reports.
I would like to see speedy recovery of Muskrat, Coon, Wild Mink & Beaver. Most folks trap these critters.

:) :) :) :) Yea I'd like to see a rebound also, I have some teaching to do, but I need that drawing card.. :o :o Just cause Dad likes to do it ain't cuttin it :P :P :P

Goose, the moo-la is a drawing card.
Even experienced folks are in and out of this game with the fluctuation of the fur market.
Higher prices = more guys after fur, ah never mind, I don't have to tell you.
