Title: House Bill 1374
Post by: Misterjake23 on August 19, 2015, 04:03:22 PM
I was reading American Hunter magazine today.  According to an article,  House Bill 1374 introduced legislation  to expand hunting on Sunday in Pennsylvania.

The bill was referred to the committee on game and fisheries on June 24th. According to the House website a public hearing was scheduled for 9 am on December 15th regarding Sunday hunting, however, it is listed as being cancelled.

csvff32... welcome to the funny farm... did they give any date that it would be reintroduced or have they taken this as a chance to kill it?...

Sorry I didn't have notifications turned on. The page still just says cancelled, so I'm not sure what they are doing. Here's a link if your interested:

Farmers are against this in SCPA.. They don't want to be bothered by hunters on Sunday...  I actulally have some farmer who won't even let me fish in a pond, if I throw the fish back, and use barbless hooks.  Again.. people drive by they see you fishing and before you know it.. they are knocking on the door asking if they can fish too...  Sadly.... So the  farmers say no way to everyone... Goes to show you how people think and act in different parts of Pa... In NEPA farmers would bend over backwards to allow you to do things..
