;D Now that I have your attention ;D ;D On a suggestion of a friend of the PPHA (UB) we are going to meet for breakfast 7:45 am at The Yankee Doodle Restaurant, 860 North Front St.,Wormleysburg,Pa. 17043 on March 7th.......... ;D ;D ;D.........If you can make it please come and bring a friend or two....doesn't have to be a PPHA member... ;D If you think you can attend please list your name here and how many ;D The diner would like info so they can pre-set the room ;D they are giving us a seperate room depending on how many attend ;D ;D You are not iron clad committed here, if you sign and can't come and if you don't sign and on that day decide to come, well get your butt on over here ::) we will make room ;D ;D.........a bunch of friends getting together............ 8)

Not sure I can make it but i will put my name in. It is hard for me to make skedules and meeting with people to cheap to purchase gass for a boat and instead drill holes in the ice to catch guppies.
So If I happen to be in the area and nobody sees me there or my car breaks down close by there is a slight possibility I might make it.
Also I have enough friends with my cat. Goose complains to much and I have a cat that hisses at me already. I should have purchased the talking bird some lady was trying to get rid of.
So count me in maybe.

Jaspr1 just so there is room for the Indian leg Wrestling Event. Surely they will give us an open space for that.. I said to my wife do you want to go?..... There have been times when Tom has paid and there are times that I have paid but there have been far to many times he has paid only for himself... I'm sure this time around.. both of us will be paying our own check. Yep we will...
There is a good chance that a surprise predator calling GURU will attend the event...He told me to remind him as we get closer to the 7th of March. .Might be a good event for many new predator hunters to meet there and hear some of the exploits.. That's if anyone gets a chance to talk...many times you can sit back and just listen and you will learn a lot...Such was the case when I rode with Randy Anderson from Port Matilda to FoxPro in Lewistown, Pa... yep the main man was talking and I was recording everything he said in my brain... I tried what he told us to do and was he every right....

The groundhogs are already awake in Mechanicsburg. Saw four the other day. The trick is to get you old guys to stay awake long enough to shoot a few.

I guess we better start talking who going to show. Weather is suppose to be nice on Saturday. Brother Tom suppose to show and maybe two others besides me. I have to contact the other two to remind them. Right now it's 4 attending.

I only hope many people do show up for the breakfast.. .There are things you can do after we eat.. You could go fishing on the Ice at Holman lake Little Buffalo State Park.. or you could stop at Basspro in Harrisburg for fishing needs for trout season. .Or take the long way around home and stop at Cabelas in Hamburg... it is about a 1 hour trip down INt 78 to Cabelas from Harrisburg...

So far two of the four I invited confirmed they are going to attend...Looks like we might have to tell the owner we need some more chairs pulled up to the table... Believe me there are going to be one guest there that is a well known predator man......However there is a good chance that I with me there will be 4 others that show up instead of just three.

Would be nice even if some distant predator caller showed for the breakfast.. .Weather going to be nice for travel.. You could shoot over to Basspro that only 10 min from the diner or even drive 1 hour to Cabelas in Hamburg... I even checked to see if there was a gun show in the area but there is none here this week end.. :( Some other places to hit on the way back is Shydas in Lebanon too..

I'm as much Perrycountian as I am Cumberland if not more. Family and old stomping grounds. My dad and grandparents are buried up on the hill in Duncannon. **** I practicly own Newport! I killed more critters in Perry county than there are people. How do you think I know where all Jaspr's honey holes are?
I chuckle when I see you old fools ice fishing at Little Buffalo. That place has been void of any real fish for years! Worst place to fish in the tri-county area. ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) But at least your staying out of my honey holes. ;) ;) ;)

;D I would like to repeat UB's assessment ;D ;D ;D We had it all from miscreant "Bad Boy" Tim to Buckwheat's Twin stealing that little kids "Binky"...lol... :o.....We could easily have had a few more, who expressed interest, but just couldn't get there. :( :( There were a lot of topics that went around that table in 2hrs...and everyone seemed to enjoy it. :) Anyway I think we got a new member in Rob W. big plus if that happens ;D ;D ..it was great seeing you all........................ 8)

I know I had 2 that I asked that were no shows....The one wanted to be there bad but he had to do something with his wife and kids... I don't hold that against anyone... the wise man will always place family first before himself...
