What type of string do you guys to see your holes shut. Never did it and wanted to know if the time comes.

I use an outdoor sewing thread and a large curved needle.  Bought both at walmart .  The curved needle really helps in my opinion

I just use a heavy duty white thread with a large straight heavy duty needle  ??? ??? ??? never played with a curved needle as I figured I'd stick myself more than the hide  :-\ :-\ :-\

I use a curved needle and either dental floss or a braided fishing line. Imo the baseball stitch is simple and fairly quick......it also holds up really well.
