Yes...page 16... Electronic devices: It is unlawful to hunt with any electronic contrivance or device except:   There is NO EXCEPTION made for night vision devices.... so it's illegal... 8)

Not really.  Think about it.  Very expensive plus you have no shield to hide behind.  They can see you just as easy.  I will take the LED lights any day.

I saw a booth at the Harrisburg Sportsman that was selling night vision.
NiteSite was their name.
I let the salesman give his pitch. This system converts your scope (no need to remove it) into a night vision system. Very interesting indeed. It was affordable. You looked at a screen with image of what scope was looking at.
After I said it was illegal in Pa. the salesman said he wasn't sure of that. I said (as nice as I could say this) I wouldn't trust him on Pa. laws.
I thanked him for the time and slipped into the aisle and looked for the party I was with. They were no where in site and moved on. I looked back at NiteSite booth and saw a guy with FoxPro on the back of his jacket. It was Mike Dillion and he was talking with NiteSite guy. I waited in aisle until Mike was finished and turned to walk away when he spotted me and came over. We chitchatted up a storm there and later I visited with him at his booth.
Mike bought 2 of these systems. I knew he hunted in other states so I didn't say much. Last night, I watch FoxPro's show and Mike and wife were hunting in Virginia. Wife shot her first Fox. Mike did try out his new night vision. Good show.

Just got off the phone (5/22/14 @1505hrs) with the S.E. office of the PGC and you CAN use NVG as long as it does not project a visible beam i.e laser , IR illuminators are legal since humans can't see in that band of electrical energy. ;D
