Title: House Passes Coyote Bounty Bill
Post by: scottm2012 on December 13, 2013, 02:56:27 PM
Unbelievable, it actually passed.  I've learned in the past 10 years that legislators are idiots.  $700,000 of the Game Commission dollars could be used elsewhere.

Time to write your Senators.  They will be back in chambers on January 7th.

It's not a done deal just yet.....it still has to pass the Senate.  the senate is sontrolled by the Democrats, and I was told they are against it.....We'll just have to wait and see.

First we would have to know where the clubs stands on the subject.  I know everyone has a different opinion so let's hear them!

+1

I'm against it even though I could make a few hundred extra bucks.  That money needs to stay in the game fund for something useful.

I'm against it.

Here is an idea.  How about the district reps e-mail or call their members for their opinion.  Forward those to the committee chair and vote to act or drop it based on the findings.  The decision can then be posted on the board so the members know where the club stands on the position.  Just saying.

Tim,  You have a great idea.  Perhaps is the membership individually gets involved and floods them with phone calls and e mails, we may have more of an impact.  I listed a link below to assist the membership in making that contact.
