Post by: longhair on March 04, 2012, 08:37:36 PM
Have been noticing that the males are out and about and the females are cleaning out their holes getting ready for the young. What a weird winter this has been. ;) ( ain't complain'n though) If this weather keeps up.............we'll be cut'n the darn grass by the end of the month. ::)

Tried the trap'n approach a year ago. Took "her" wayyyyyyy up on the hill and headed her towards the woods. About an hour later she was highball'n it back to the hole. >:( I think the neighbors are on board with "thin'n the heard" this year. ;D

Now foxpro51, you know that Gus is retired. And I'll tell ya where he resides. About 15 miles from you.
Head south on 51 to Bill's dairy delite and go to the south end of the park'n lot and look across the road. There's a manhole for the sewage and his hole is Right next to it. Must be the heat from the poop pipe cause I've seen him sit'n on a snow bank this winter. He's a local legend. :o
