Title: Bear fleshing

This is a bear I'm working on for a taxidermist to make a rug from
This boar was shot in Canada with 00buck
Check out how the wire wheel takes the flesh off,
This would work great for beaver faces

first time i hunted in Canada the bait station was 11 yards from the stand, if i knew that before i went i would have packed the shotgun with buck shot, awesome choice for that range.

Double L, The wheel you are using....is that a 'bird flesher'? (to flesh Pheasents, Ducks, Geese and other wild birds to be tanned and mounted)

A friend (and fur buyer), Bob, uses a bird flesher (wheel) to flesh Coon. Cleanest darn Coon you ever seen.
I been think'n of getting one. Did you make your rig. Bob's is rigged in a box like pictured.

Same concept Hern,
I made mine after using the taxidermist's rig on a deer cape.
Coarse, 6 inch wheel. running at 1700 rpm.
Mine is mobile and has its own light and extra outlet on board

Double L, nice job.
Looks pretty much like my friends. If I recall, his wheel had fingers or stiff wires longer than your wire.
If you do any Coon, let me know how it works on 'em.

I've done deer, bear, beaver, beaver tails, coyote, red fox and squirrel so far.
Coon should be less greasy than bear, but  not a problem.
I'll let you know as soon as I do a coon.
Maybe this magic box could get me an invite to the next "fur handling at Hern's" event.

 It is mobile, and all you would need is electric and something to set it on and a chair by the cooler ;)
