Did anyone hear that there closing middle creek wildlife management area? Just wondered if this was true
-
There are various seasons for waterfowl during the regular season and most are by daily draws...Canada goose season ends on the 29th for the RPG areas...Snow goose season continues, but they (PGC/USFG) regulate it also..
-
I know this lol. They are closing middle creek period not enough state funds to keep it open
-
See what the USFW does...I find it hard to believe it will close completely..
-
I used to lease six farm around there when our goose season was ninty days and three geese a day. Used to be a lot of geese there now them white flying carp pushed the Canadians out when the snows leave there's nothing left but muddy fields
-
In my area the resident population is down, and snows don't usually come this far west :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ except for them high flying passing through flocks :P :P :P :P
-
I think their considering closing...but no decision has been made yet...could be options....

lets hope they give all the land to the Pa Game Çommission if the Feds no longer want it.

I saw that it was a consideration but no official plans had been made to do that..it was just an area they would look at ...considering the current situation...unless something changed since yesterday when I read that.

Oh my you predator hunters in that area will have some excellent predator hunting if they gave all that wetland to the PGC.
