Title: January 16th
Post by: swarter2 on January 10, 2016, 09:30:45 PM
As many of you know I haven't been on here in a very long time. My work schedule and family has not allowed to luxury of hunting nearly as much as I would like. With that said it is a new year but still the same old me. I am planning on heading up to Pike county next Saturday for bobcat. I'll be hunting the Delaware state forest and I'm looking for any good entry points that may give me a good opportunity for a bobcat.  I know the maple run access above Pecks pond but any others would be much appreciated.

You need to hunt the place I told you about. Go where I told you too.
Around Wallenpaupack there is PGL that looked good.
Marshall creek the Delaware National Forest along the Delaware. There is a back road behind Tree Top on the Villas. You will see an entry right down to the river there.
finally Brady Lake find that and hunt in the back on side the opposite of the dam. Don't cross any ice. Walk around on the dam side of lake toward back.
Promised Land State park would be good to hunt too.
Find the PGL at Thornhurst and Suscon. (Off RT 115)
drive toward  Wilkes Barre On Rt  115 before you get to turnpike a good mile before PGL are off rt  115. Might be better if I talk to you on phone soon and give you all these bearings. :)

Uncle buck I have a cabin right near promise land. I don't do much hunting up there is have another cabin up in McKean county that I do most of my hunting at. I was think about trying for bobcats around the promise land area any pointers and places to try would be greatly appreciated. I don't know the area to we'll but I can map it if you have game land numbers or something. Thanks for the help.
